In 1933, Vladimir Manykin-Nevstruyev, a remarkably talented individual, began working as the theatre chief artist. He combined two talents – that of an artist and an actor.
He graduated from the Moscow non-classical secondary school and the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture in 1896. In 1940, he was awarded the title of «Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation».
He was the chief artist of the Kursk Pushkin Drama Theatre and worked
as an actor there first from
September 5, 1933 to September 6, 1941,
and then from September 1, 1947 to March 15, 1949.
